We are proud to announce that "Easton's Article" will have its World Premiere Screening at the largest film festival in the USA, the Seattle International Film Festival. The film will be screened Friday, June 8th at 6:30pm and Saturday, June 9th at 11:30am at SIFF Cinema Uptown in Seattle, WA. During the SIFF event "Easton's Article" will also be included in The New American Cinema competition, one of the most eagerly awaited programs in the festival, and represents films that the festival programmers feel are among the best US films of the festival.

The New American Cinema competition is a juried competition featuring a selection of US films without domestic distribution currently in place. Each is chosen based on their original conception, striking style and overall excellence, and the jury is comprised of members of the foreign press, the FIPRESCI (International Federation of Film Critics). SIFF is only one of 4 US festivals with a FIPRESCI Jury, and the winner will be announced at the Golden Space Needle Awards Brunch on June 10. In previous years, competitors in The New American Cinema competition have included such films as Oscar Best Picture nominee "Winter's Bone."
